Local Financial Advisor Publishes Retirement Planning Podcast

Community-oriented certified financial planner James M. Richardson, CFP®, ChFC®, has published the first in a series of free podcasts on financial planning. In the three-minute audio presentation, Richardson examines the basic concept of setting-up a lifestyle based on the money one has made so far so it can be utilized – without running out – to achieve goals and dreams while an individual can still enjoy it. “How do you know how much money you have? How do you know how you can spend it? How do you make sure you spend it effectively,” he asks during part of the podcast, which also touches-on when an individual should start planning for his or her retirement, and also what the presidential election may mean for financial planning.

“The election year is actually a good year…statistically, the next year is even better,” Richardson notes.

Boasting almost 20 years experience in financial planning, Richardson helps clients review and understand their entire financial picture and build a long-term plan designed to meet their individual dreams and goals. He developed this free podcast series to assist the general public with understanding basic concepts of retirement planning.
