Apex First Development and The Villages of Apex are “Seeing STARS” after winning numerous awards at the 2008 STARS Awards Gala held in Charlotte on September 10. The Villages of Apex won Master-Planned Community of the Year for the State of North Carolina, which is considered the most prestigious award because of its scope. The awards are presented annually by the North Carolina Homebuilders Association to recognize marketing excellence. The Villages of Apex is being developed by Apex First Development, the company chosen by the town of Apex to create an upscale, mixed-use neighborhood adjacent to historic downtown Apex. The 202-acre Villages of Apex neighborhood features luxury condominiums, villas, Georgetowns, brownstones, patio homes and single family homes along with a village center with retail shops and restaurants, Class-A office space, a resort-style amenities center, 13-acre town park, two-acre dog park and miles of greenway trails winding through the community.
