Waverly Place Redevelopment Delayed

The News & Observer is reporting that the massive redevelopment of Cary’s Waverly Place shopping center at the intersection of Tryon Road and Kildaire Farm Road is suffering delays due to the nationwide credit crunch. Much of the redevelopment was supposed to be completed next year but is now on hold as the developer finds a lender to complete financing. The entire N&O story can be found online here.
