Free plant and gardening advice from the Garden Hut

Fall is a great time to plant! The Garden Hut in Fuquay-Varina has a fun-filled day of free events on Saturday, October 11.

Organic Espoma Products are featured, and a company representative will be onhand to talk about fertilizers and other organic amendments.

At 10 a.m. meander through the nursery with horticulturist Nelsa Cox as she highlights some of her favorite plants to add interest in the garden.

At 11 a.m. Carol Stein’s Gardeners Forum focuses on Four Seasons Container Gardening. Learn how to plan, plant and maintain containers combining herbs, evergreens, perennials and seasonal color.
