If you are a Town of Apex residential or commercial customer and have trash and recycling services, there will be NO changes in collection due to the upcoming Veteran’s Day Holiday. Shearon Harris Back Online
Progress Energy’s Shearon Harris nuclear plant located outside of Apex in New Hill resumed generating electricity this morning. The plant had been shut down for over a week for repair to a rubber gasket which required workers climbing inside the turbine housing.
